Six Steps to a Perfect Chocolate Transfer
Apply your custom printed chocolate transfer sheet with confidence using this precise guide.

Temper Your Chocolate First
The transfer only works with properly tempered chocolate. Untempered chocolate will not set with the correct snap and shine, and transfer quality will be inconsistent. Ensure your chocolate is within the correct working temperature range for its type before applying to the sheet.

Place the Sheet Printed Side Up
Lay the transfer sheet on a flat, level surface with the printed side facing up. For mold work, place the sheet inside the mold with the design facing up before pouring. The chocolate will be poured or spread directly over the printed surface.

Apply Tempered Chocolate Evenly
Pour or spread your tempered chocolate over the printed surface in an even layer. Work quickly and confidently before the chocolate begins to set. An even layer ensures consistent contact between the chocolate and the printed design across the full sheet.

Allow to Set Completely Before Peeling
Do not attempt to peel the sheet before the chocolate has set fully. A fully set chocolate piece will release cleanly from the sheet with the design transferred onto it. Attempting to peel early results in tearing and incomplete transfers.

Peel Slowly and at a Low Angle
Once fully set, peel the transfer sheet back slowly at a low angle rather than pulling it straight up. A low-angle peel minimizes the risk of lifting the transferred design and produces the cleanest edge on every piece.

White Chocolate First. Dark Chocolate Softens Colors.
Colors reproduce truest on white chocolate due to its neutral base. Dark chocolate produces softer, more muted tones as the darker base affects how transferred colors appear. For brand work or event designs where color accuracy is critical, test with your specific chocolate before committing to a full production run.
